Longway Factory is media production agency based in Rimini, Italy, focusing on photo and video reportages.

The project took spanned months, building a brand new online presence and helping the client bring his existing contents into the new site.

The website is based on WordPress and contains several Flash elements to display photo slideshows and videos. Design-wise, the layout is based on a 4-unit grid and a strict colour palette, based on grey tones with the exception of blue, used as highlight colour. The whole design is meant to be subtle and clean, to let users focus on photos and videos.

Thanks to a good and continuous interaction with the client, different versions of the website were released, with progressive enhancements thanks to tests with real users and users’ feedback. The process was iterated until a final version of the website was released.
