Medbrains

We built a blog network for Medbrains, aimed to connect doctors, surgeons and patiens and to share medical knowledge.
Medbrains is based on customized installation of WordPress-MU, using a custom designed theme and some custom plugins. Specifically, we tweaked WordPress-Mu to support 6 languages, built a 4 steps guide registration process and included some extensions from BuddyPress (eg. extended user profiles, etc.). We also modified WordPress-MU built-in functions to add a blog browser, very similar to WordPress.com.
